How has the TTS Program helped you?
The TTS Program has helped me in many ways- one of them being the constant workshops (with topics geared towards my schooling at CSUDH, life, and beyond, they have been an invaluable resource for me). But, the most important helpful way the TTS has been helping me, is by having someone there to help. The TTS helps you navigate the rough waters between community college and university life.

What keeps you motivated and positive throughout life’s hardships?
What keeps me motivated and positive throughout life's hardships (trust, there have been many) is knowing that once I get my bachelor's degree and eventual Master's I will be able to support myself. Not only that but, I will get to work in a career that I chose contributing to current social science research studies.

What advice would you like to give to your fellow scholars?
My advice to my fellow scholars is to not give up, no matter what life throws at them! Graduation is a long-term term goal and can seem a million years away. Set up small goals each semester and they will add up to the grand prize-A degree and independence. I would also advise that you must have the mentality of accomplishing this goal for yourself. Whether other people benefit from your hard work or not, it is you putting in the hard work- do not ever forget that! Whether you have moral support or not in your life you know that YOU have your back and that's what matters most! Do not ever give up on yourself!

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on visiting Greece. I've wanted to go since elementary school. After Greece, I plan on going to Japan to study their society and try to find a solution for their ever-growing elderly population.
