The campus programs that I am a part of are M.E.Ch.A, Tau Sigma, and Transfer To Success.

Career Goal:
My career goal is I want to become a college advisor at any university, so I can help students to succeed. I mostly want to be a college advisor because it has been a long dream of mine to inspire others by being the role model that they can look up to. I also want to be the person that students can go to when they are feeling lost with their academics or need advice on what they should do in order to be the best scholar they are striving to be.

Hobbies:
My hobbies are photography, reading, watching movies at movie theaters or streaming movies from home, going to amusement parks, and spending time with my family and friends.

How has the TTS Program helped you?
The TTS Program helped me by having very useful seminars that can really be beneficial to my academic journey at California State University, Dominguez Hills. My favorite seminar that I enjoyed attending was Seminar #3: Life After DH! Seminar #3 because it had topics that had valuable information such as resume building, preparation for graduate school, and tips on networking, which is what I needed to be ready for what comes after graduating from DH. My TTS Advisor Beatriz Perez is very helpful too because she has helped me tremendously on how to apply for graduate school and how to write a great statement of purpose. Beatriz has also assisted me on how I can apply for a job on campus to gain more money for school by using Handshake from the Career Center and how to look for scholarships.

What keeps me motivated and positive throughout life's hardships?
I stay motivated and positive throughout my life's hardships is to remember that there is always a better outcome on the other side. I try to remain calm and not let the little things affect me.

What advice would you give to your fellow scholars:
My advice that I will give to my fellow scholars is to take advantage of every opportunity that the TTS Program has because they always have great information that can really help. Also make sure to be more involved on campus, since it can make your resume look more impressive to graduate programs.

What are your plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation is to continue my education by attending graduate school at California State University, Dominguez Hills, so I can obtain my masters in science degree in college counseling. After earning my degree, I want to travel to different countries in Europe during the summer before I start my career as a college advisor at whichever university accepts me to help students become scholars.
