How has the STEM Scholars Program helped you?
The STEM Scholars Program is pretty much the main reason why I still believe I can pursue my career goal in the medical field. Lots of support from this program — especially my advisor, Noemí. Not just educational support, but also constant emotional support. It’s unbelievable.

What keeps you motivated and positive throughout life’s hardships?
Throughout life’s hardship, my faith in God keeps me motivated, and of course, the great people around me like family and friends.

What advice would you like to give to your fellow scholars?
My advice to my fellow scholars is to KEEP GOING. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel. It’s supposed to be difficult now but the rewards are coming, surely.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on taking a couple months vacationing, then going for my medical school right after.
